Installation

SUSPENSION: FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM

(a) Install the front lower arm bushing stopper to the front lower suspension arm.

(b) Install the front lower suspension arm to the front frame assembly with the 3 bolts and nut, but do not tighten them yet.

(c) Tighten the 3 bolts in numerical order shown in the illustration.





Bolt 1, 2 - Torque : 200 Nm (2039 kgf-cm, 147 ft-lbf)

Bolt 3 - Torque : 135 Nm (1377 kgf-cm, 100 ft-lbf)

HINT
Start installing the bolts from the front side of the vehicle.

2. INSTALL FRONT FRAME ASSEMBLY (for 2GR-FE) Installation

3. INSTALL FRONT FRAME ASSEMBLY (for 1AR-FE) Installation

4. REMOVE ENGINE HANGERS (for 2GR-FE) Installation

5. REMOVE ENGINE HANGERS (for 1AR-FE) Removal

6. INSTALL POWER STEERING LINK ASSEMBLY Installation

7. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BAR WITH FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY

8. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET LH Installation

9. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT STABILIZER BRACKET RH

HINT
Perform the same procedure as the LH side.

10. INSTALL ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE

HINT
