Headlamp Bulb: Service and Repair

CAUTION: Before starting work on the electrical system, obtain radio security code, turn oft ignition and disconnect battery Ground (GND) strap.

Main and high beam twin filament bulb, removing and installing







Removing
- Pull connector oft twin filament bulb.
- Remove cap on rear of headlight insert.
- Release spring retainer -1- and fold down.
- Take bulb out of reflector.


Installing


CAUTION: DO NOT touch glass portion of bulb.

- Insert new bulb so that the lugs on the laminated plate align with the grooves in the reflector.
- After installing a new bulb check headlight adjustment.
