Control Arm Bushing: Application and ID

REAR BUSHING FOR CONTROL ARM, MODIFIED VERSION
- A bonded rubber mounting with 17 mm internal diameter is supplied as a replacement part for the original bonded rubber mounting -1- with 15 mm internal diameter.
- Procedures for pressing in and pressing out the bonded rubber mounting remain unchanged.
- Because of the 17 mm diameter, a larger air gap exists between the bolt shaft and the inner bushing.
- This has no effect on the secure seating of the control arm in the subframe.
- The seating is achieved by surface pressure on the end of the inner bushing.
