Center Console





The gearshift cover for manual transmission or automatic transmission cars clips into place on the front part of the console.

- To remove the console, first remove the handle and trim from the parking brake lever.

- Remove the handle by releasing the retainer underneath.





- To remove the rear part of the console, remove the ashtray and the two screws beneath it at the rear of the console.

- Remember to disconnect the ashtray light.

- Press down on the locking tabs at the front, and remove the console toward the rear. Installation is the reverse of removal.

- Make sure that the guide under the console engages the "T" retainer.





- The front part of the console is held in place by the nuts, screws and retainer pins as shown.

- Remember to disconnect any harness connectors from behind the console as you remove it.
