Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Table

NOTE:
- following list contains all malfunctions that can be recognized by Airbag Control Module J234 and printed out by Scan Tool (ST) V.A.G 1551. malfunctions are listed in order according to their 5-digit DTC numbers.
- DTC and blink code appears (in operating mode "Rapid Data Transfer") only on printout.







- Malfunction type may also be indicated in DTC table.
- Before replacing component determined to be faulty, check all relevant harness connectors, wires and Ground (GND) connections according to wiring diagram.
- After repairs, DTC memory must always be checked again using Scan Tool (ST) V.A.G 1551/and erased.
