Intake Air Plenum: Service and Repair









1 - Retaining clip
- Ensure it is securely seated
2 - Strainer
3 - Fuel pressure regulator
- Fuel pressure regulator and residual pressure, checking See 'Fuel Pressure Regulator, Testing and Inspection, Procedures.' Testing and Inspection 4 - O-ring
- Replace if damaged
5 - Fuel injectors */** N30 to N33
- Checking See 'Fuel Delivery and Air Induction, Fuel Injectors, Testing and Inspection, Procedures.' Testing and Inspection
6 - Fuel rail, lower section
7 - 10 Nm (7 ft lb)
8 - Fuel rail

NOTE: The chart applies to Engine Coolant Temperature sensor G62 and Intake Air Temperature sensor G42.


The chart is divided into two temperature ranges:
A - from 0 to 50 °C
B - from 50 to 105 °C

Examples:
- 30 °C is in range A and corresponds to a resistance of 1.5 to 2.0 Kilo Ohms
- 80 °C is in range B and corresponds to a resistance of 275 to 375 Ohms
