Air Injection Pump: Service and Repair

Secondary Air Injection Pump

Removing

- Remove right front wheel.

- Remove front right wheel housing liner.

- Separate the electrical connector - 5 -.

- Remove hose - 3 - to Secondary Air Injection (AIR) combination valve and hose - 2 - to upper part of air filter housing from AIR pump.





- Remove nuts - 1 - and - 4 - and remove AIR pump upward from bracket.

- Guide AIR pump forward out of turn signal housing bumper cutout.

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse order.
