Accelerator Pedal Module

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Release Tool (T10238)

Removing

- Remove the steering column cover fasteners - arrows -.






- Pry out the cap => [ (Item 4) Cap ] Accelerator Pedal Module Overview using a screwdriver.

- Remove the bolt => [ (Item 3) Bolt ] Accelerator Pedal Module Overview.

- Slide the release tool (T10238) as shown into the openings designated for it until it stops and remove the accelerator pedal module.






- Disconnect the harness connector from the accelerator pedal module. Do this by pressing the connector securing element down.

Installing

- Connect the connector - 2 - to the accelerator pedal module.






The connector must engage audibly.

- Press accelerator pedal module onto the retaining pins - 6 -.

- Insert the centering pin - 7 - into the hole on the vehicle floor.

- Secure accelerator pedal module with bolt - 3 -, tightening specifications: 10 Nm, and install cover cap - 4 -.

- Reinstall the steering column cover and fasteners.
