Engine, Removing from the Scissor Lift Platform (VAS 6131)

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Shop Crane (VAS 6100)

• Transportation Plates (T10126)

• Frame Support (T10191)

• Lifting Tackle (3033)

Procedure

- Separate the transmission from the engine.

- Loosen the engine mount bracket to engine mount nut - A - on both sides of the engine.






- Loosen the support F/VAS 6131 for V6 / V10 / V8 (VAS 6131/8) from the scissor lift table and remove it.

- Install the transportation plates (T10126) and (T10126/1) on the cylinder heads as shown - arrows -.






- Hook the lifting tackle (3033) into the workshop crane (VAS 6100) and into the transportation plates (T10126).

- Lift the engine from the scissor lift table.

- Set the engine in the frame support (T10191).
