Intake Manifold Flap, Servicing

When engine is switched off, the intake manifold flap is closed for approx. 3 seconds and then opens again. This reduces the stop jolt.

A - Intake manifold flap with Motor for intake flap (V157)* or Intake Flap Motor 2 (V275)*





B - EGR Vacuum Regulator Solenoid Valve

C - 8 Nm

Cylinder bank 1:

Motor for intake flap (V157).

Cylinder bank 2:

Intake Flap Motor 2 (V275).

• Cylinder bank 1 is located in direction of travel, right.

• Cylinder bank 2 is located in direction of travel, left.
