Front Wheel Speed Sensor

Removing

- Raise the vehicle.

- Disconnect the speed sensor connector - 1 -.





- Remove the bolt - 2 - from the wheel bearing housing.

- Remove the wheel speed sensor from wheel bearing housing.

Installing

- Before installing the wheel speed sensor, clean the inner surface of the bore and lubricate the sensor completely with polycarbamide grease (G 052 142 A2).

- Install the speed sensor into the hole in the wheel bearing housing and tighten the bolt to 8 Nm.

- Connect the speed sensor connector.
