Alarm Horn Sources, Checking

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information System (VAS5051B)

After alarm horn has triggered, the alarm source can be checked (e.g. vehicle battery monitor or alarm trigger by comfort control module).

- Connect the (VAS5051B).

- On the (VAS5051B), select "Guided Fault Finding".

- Using the "Go To" button, select "Functions/Component selection" and the following menu options in sequence:

• Body

• Body repair procedures

• 01 - OBD capable systems

• Comfort system

• Functions - central control module for comfort system

• J393 - Check alarm sources for alarm horn
