B1DF2 - Mirror Fold Switch - Stuck

• When Monitored: When mirror operation is requested.

• Set Condition: If the driver door module detects that the Mirror switch is stuck in the same position for more than 30 seconds.






Test Step 1 - Verify if DTC B1DF2 - Mirror Fold Switch Stuck is active

• Turn the ignition ON.

• With the scan tool, erase all DTCs.

• Press the mirror fold switch in all directions several times.

• Cycle the ignition from ON to OFF 3 times.

• Turn the ignition ON.

• With the scan tool, check for DTCs.

Does the scan tool display B1DF2 - Mirror Fold Switch Stuck?

Yes

• Replace the drivers door window/mirror switch assembly.

• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to=> Non-DTC Based Diagnostics. Body Interior

No

• The condition that caused this symptom is currently not present. Check for an intermittent condition by inspecting the related wiring harness for chafed, pierced, pinched, and partially broken wires. Also, inspect the related connectors for broken, bent, pushed out, spread, corroded, or contaminated terminals. Repair as necessary.

• Perform the Body Verification Test. Refer to=> Non-DTC Based Diagnostics. Body Interior
