Power Liftgate Chime

Removing

- Open the liftgate.

- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.

- Open the jack stowage compartment door (2) to gain access to the stowage compartment (1) and the chime.






- Disconnect the chime electrical connector (1).






- Unsnap the chime (2) from the left inner quarter panel and remove from the vehicle.

Installing

- Snap the chime assembly into the mounting hole in the left quarter panel (2).






- Connect the wire connector (1).

- Install the jack stowage compartment door (2).






- Connect the battery negative cable.

- Using an appropriate scan tool, check and erase any power liftgate control module diagnostic trouble codes.

- Verify power liftgate system operation.
