Sliding Door Glass, Movable

• If the door glass will not move in the door, remove the regulator motor and manually position the window regulator and glass to the appropriate position.

Removing

- With the door glass in the full down position, remove the door trim panel.

- Remove the appliques. Refer to => [ Sliding Door Applique ] Sliding Door Applique.

- Remove the close out plugs from the door carrier plate.

- Working through the close out plugs in the door carrier plate, carefully back off attach nuts from the glass brackets to disengage from lift plates on the window regulator.







Use care when removing the door glass to prevent breakage. Do not force the glass out of the door. Failure to follow this warning may result in serious injury.

- Remove lower glass channel bolts and rotate glass channel rearward.

- Remove the sliding door glass from the window opening. Tip the top edge of glass outward and then lift the glass out of the opening.

Installing

- Install the sliding door glass (2) into the window opening. Make sure the glass is properly positioned within the glass run.

- Working through the close out plugs in the door carrier plate, carefully engage the sliding door glass into the two plastic lift plates (3) located on the window regulator and secure glass nuts.






- Rotate lower glass channel into position and secure two bolts.

- Install the close out plugs onto the door carrier plate.

- Install the door trim panel.

- Install the appliques. Refer to => [ Sliding Door Applique ] Sliding Door Applique.
