EGR Temperature Sensor: Service and Repair

Exhaust Gas Recirculation Temperature Sensor

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Socket (T40055)

Removing

- Remove the engine cover off the 4 ball studs one after the other - arrows -.





- Remove the orange connector - 2 - for the Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) temperature sensor (G98) from the bracket, disconnect it and free up the wire.





- Remove the EGR temperature sensor - 1 - using (T40055).

Installing

Installation is performed in reverse order.
