Removing

- If vehicle has manual transmission, select 2nd gear.

- If vehicle has automatic transmission, select rearmost driving range position.

- Switch off ignition.

- Remove center console storage compartment. Refer to => [ Center Console Storage Compartment ] Center Console Storage Compartment

- Remove shifter cover. Refer to => [ Shifter Cover ] Shifter Cover

- Open ashtray unit - 1 -.





- Detach ashtray unit by pulling backward out of mountings in center console.

- Close ashtray unit.

- Remove ashtray unit from center console.

- Disconnect ashtray unit from wiring harness.

• Instead of ashtray unit, a storage unit with electrical socket may be installed. Removal is identical.

Installation

- To install, perform the steps used for removal in reverse order.
