Torque Converter Seal

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Thrust Piece (T10175)

• Extractor Lever (VW 681)

Removing






- Remove torque converter shaft seal using the extractor lever (VW 681).

Installing






- Coat the outer circumference and the sealing lips of the new seal with transmission fluid.

• Installed position: The open side of the seal faces the transmission.

- Install the seal until flush, using the thrust piece (T10175).
