Air Conditioning Additional Information and Procedures


Refrigerant can cause serious personal injury.

• Do not open the air conditioning refrigerant circuit.


There is a risk of damaging the condenser and refrigerant lines and refrigerant hoses.

• Do not overstretch, kink or bend the refrigerant lines and refrigerant hoses.

Perform the following:

To facilitate removal and installation of the engine without having to open the refrigerant circuit:

- Remove the noise insulation.

- Open the refrigerant line clamps.

- Install the towing eye - arrow -.






• Use tape to protect the bumper cover from getting damaged.

- Remove the A/C compressor with refrigerant lines still connected from the sub-assembly bracket.

- Secure A/C compressor to tow hook so that the refrigerant lines/hoses are not under a load.
