EVAP System Overview






1 Leak detection pump (V144)

• Installed location: Under wheel housing liner in right rear wheel housing

• Checking, refer to the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ Leak Detection Pump, Removing and Installing ] Service and Repair

2 Air filter housing

• For the leak detection pump (V144)

3 Connecting line

• From the leak detection pump (V144) to the EVAP canister

4 EVAP canister

• Installed location: Under the floor panel in the rear and on the right side

• Removing and Installing, refer to => [ EVAP Canister, Removing and Installing ] EVAP Canister, Removing and Installing

5 Separating point

• at right behind fuel tank

6 Intake manifold

7 EVAP canister purge regulator valve 1 (N80)

• Checking, refer to the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051

8 Separating point

• Inside the engine compartment on the right side

9 Vent line

• white

• From the EVAP canister to EVAP canister purge regulator valve 1 (N80)

• Installation position: Under the floor panel

• Attached to the top of the fuel tank

10 Separating point

• At right front of fuel tank in vicinity of fuel filter

11 Filler tube

12 Vent line

• From the filler tube to the EVAP canister
