Fuel Delivery Unit Overview






1 Lock Ring

• 110 Nm

• Make sure it is secure

• Use the wrench (T10202) for removal and installation.

2 Supply Line, to the Fuel Filter

• Black

• Attached to the fuel tank.

• Make sure it is secure.

3 Return Line

• Blue or with a blue mark.

• Attached to the fuel tank.

• Make sure it is secure.

• To disconnect from the flange, press the release buttons on the coupling.

4 Supply Line, for Auxiliary Heater

• Not available in the US/Canadian market.

5 Flange

• For the fuel delivery unit.

• Note the installed position of the flange on the fuel tank. Refer to => [ Flange Installed Position ].

6 Fuel Level Sensor (G)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fuel Level Sensor (G) ] Service and Repair.

7 Fuel Delivery Unit

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fuel Delivery Unit ] Fuel Delivery Unit.

• With the transfer fuel pump (G6) and fuel level sensor.

8 Seal

• Always replace.

• Install the seal into the fuel tank opening dry.

• Lubricate with fuel only when installing the flange.

Flange Installed Position





• The tab - 2 - on the flange must lie between tabs - 1 and 3 - on the fuel tank.

• The - arrow - points in the direction of travel.
