Center Console

Center Console

• The front seats are not shown in the following illustrations.

Removing

- Turn off the ignition.

- Pull the parking brake lever - 1 - into its highest position.

- Remove the rear center console - 2 -. Refer to => [ Center Console Rear Trim ] Center Console Rear Trim.

- Remove the caps - 4 - on both sides and remove screws - 3 - (6 Nm).

- Remove bolt - 5 - on both sides (1.5 Nm).






- Loosen the trim on both sides - 4 - from the retainers - 3 -.

- Remove the guide on both sides - 1 - from the brackets - 2 -.

- Remove the trim on both sides - 4 - from the center console.

- Remove the center console cover. Refer to => [ Center Console Cover ] Center Console Cover.






Basic

- Loosen the storage compartment - 1 - from the clips and then remove it from the center console.

High

- Loosen the storage compartment - 2 - out of the retainers and then remove it from the center console.






- Remove the screw on both sides - 1 - from the center console - 2 - (1.5 Nm).

- Remove the screws on both sides - 3 - from the center console - 2 - (1.5 Nm).






- Pull the center console - 1 - slightly to the rear until the guides on both sides are free- arrow -.

- Remove the center console - 1 - from the vehicle in - direction of arrow -. Disconnect the wire harnesses (depending on the vehicle equipment level).






• The parking brake lever - 2 - must be pulled up into the highest position.

Installation

- Install in reverse order of removal.

• Check all the fasteners for damage and replace if necessary.
