Electrical Component Location Overview

- Touch a grounded object before working on electrical components. Do not touch connectors or open electronic components directly.






The electric/electronic components are located inside the transmission.

Only the selector lever sensor system control module and the shift lock solenoid are located on the selector lever.






1 DSG(R) Transmission Mechatronic (J743)

• Installed behind the transmission cover.

• Removing and installing, refer to one of the following:

2 Transmission Input Speed Sensor (G182) and Clutch Oil Temperature Sensor (G509)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Transmission Input Speed Sensor G182 and Clutch Oil Temperature Sensor G509 ] Service and Repair.

• The Mechatronic unit must be removed first, before the sensors can be removed.

3 Selector Lever (E313)
