Upper A-Pillar Trim

Removing

• Removing and installing on the left side of the vehicle is described here. Removing and installing on the right side is identical.

- Pull the trim - 1 - in the area of the inscription "Airbag" into the vehicle interior out of the catch in the A-pillar.






- Cut the clip - 1 - with a diagonal cutter.






- Remove the trim out of the other mounts.

- Remove any remaining parts of the clip still in the body using the release tool (T10236).

Installing

- Replace the clip - 1 - "5N0.880.385.A".






- Mount the trim between the instrument panel and body.

- Lock the trim - 1 - in the retainers into the body.






- Mount the trim into the door seal piping.
