Removing






- Open the glass panel - 1 - far enough until the the trim - 2 - is accessible.

- Remove the trim - 2 - in direction of - arrow A - and carefully disengage the retaining tab - 3 - on the back side.

- Unclip the tab - 4 - by pressing it in the direction - arrow B - on the back side.

- Push the trim - 2 - forward in the direction of - arrow C - and remove it.

- Remove the left and right screws - 2 - from the glass panel - 1 -.






• When removing the screws, use a magnetic tool so that the screws cannot fall into the panorama sunroof mechanism.

- Remove glass panel upward.

Do not move the tilting mechanism when the glass panel is removed otherwise the wind deflector can get damaged (scratched).

Installation

• New screws are to be used when installing the glass panel.

• When removing the screws, use a magnetic tool so that the screws cannot fall into the guide for the panorama sunroof mechanism.

- Install the glass panel - 1 - from above and install the bolts - 2 -, but do not tighten them.






- Adjust the front glass panel. Refer to => [ Front and Rear Glass Panel Height, Adjusting ] Front and Rear Glass Panel Height, Adjusting.

- Tighten the bolts - 2 - to 5 Nm.

- Engage the front trim - 2 - into the glass panel - 1 - and slide it in direction of - arrow A -.






- Insert the tabs - 4 -.

- Engage the retaining tab - 3 - on the back - arrow B -.

- After finishing all work, perform a adaptation procedure for the sunroof motor, refer to => [ Panorama Sunroof Adaptation ] Panorama Sunroof Adaptation.
