Cornering Lamp: Testing and Inspection

Cornering Lamp and Headlamp Range Control Module (J745), Coding

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Vehicle Diagnostic Tester

• A possible DTC memory entry "Data BUS comfort, check the DTC memory", must not be updated in the headlamp range control module.

• Correct any faults in the cornering lamp and headlamp range control module.

• When all DTC memory entries, Data bus Comfort, are corrected, the entry in the cornering lamp and headlamp range control module are automatically erased.

- Connect the vehicle diagnostic tester. Refer to => [ Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information Systems ] Vehicle Diagnosis, Testing and Information Systems

- Select "Guided Fault Finding" in the vehicle diagnostic tester.

- Using the "Go to" button, select the "function/component selection" and the following menu options in sequence:

• Body

• Electrical Equipment

• OBD capable systems

• Automatic headlamp range control cornering light

• Automatic headlamp range control functions

• Coding the automatic headlamp range control module

- Check headlamp for functions.

- Check the headlamp adjustment and adjust it if necessary.

• Perform a basic setting on the headlamp after coding the headlamp range control module (J745).
