Fuel Level Sensor G

- Remove the fuel delivery unit. Refer to => [ Fuel Delivery Unit ] Fuel Delivery Unit.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

• Welding Wire (2 mm material strength)

- Bend an 80 mm long welding wire as shown.






Dimension - a -: 10 mm

Dimension - b -: 70 mm

Removing

- Disengage and remove the wire terminals for the fuel level sensor.

- Press the welding wire - 1 - in the - direction of the arrow - into the opening under the sensor.






- At the same time, push the fuel level sensor - 2 - in the - direction of the arrow - out of the guides.

Installing

- Insert the fuel level sensor in the guides on the fuel delivery unit and push down until it engages.

- Connect the connector and check for secure locking.

- Install the fuel delivery unit. Refer to => [ Fuel Delivery Unit ] Fuel Delivery Unit.
