Rear Wiper Arm

Removing

- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

- Fold up the cap - 1 - on the rear window wiper and unclip it.






- Release the mounting nut - arrow - without completely unscrewing it.

- Fold wiper arm up and loosen from the cone by sideways motions.

- Remove the nut - arrow - and the wiper arm.

Installing

Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Turn on the ignition then turn on the rear window wiper and turn it off again. The wiper arm will move into the park position.

- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.

- Mount the wiper arm on the wiper arm shaft in the approximate park position and tighten the nut - arrow - hand-tight.






• Only tighten the wiper arm mounting nut - arrow - to the specification after adjusting the park position.

- Adjust the rear window wiper park position. Refer to => [ Rear Window Wiper Blade Park Position, Adjusting ] Service and Repair.
