1 Guide Rail

• Clipped onto the control housing.

2 Control Housing

3 Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 (N205)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Camshaft Adjuster Valves ] Camshaft Adjuster Valves.

4 Exhaust Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 (N318)

• Removing and installing, refer to => [ Camshaft Adjuster Valves ] Camshaft Adjuster Valves.

5 Bolt

• Hex socket head bolt (TORX(R)): 8 Nm + an additional 90° (1/4) turn.

• Internal multi-point bolt (XZN): 8 Nm + an additional 180° (1/2) turn.

• Always replace.

• Quantity: 4

Checking the Control Housing Strainer for Contaminants





- Unclip the strainer - 2 - from the rear side of the control housing - 1 - and remove any possible contamination.
