Air Quality Sensor (G238)

• The Air Quality Sensor is installed in the plenum chamber at front left in direction of travel.

• The Air Quality Sensor contains a highly sensitive electronic component which can be damaged if it comes in direct contact with solvents, fuels or chemicals.

• Do not install a sensor that has been kept, for example, in a tool box.

• Do not store removed sensors in areas where they can come into contact with solvents, fuels and certain chemical compositions (fluids or vapors).

Removal

- Turn off all electric consumers.

- Switch off the ignition.

- Remove the key.

- Remove the right plenum chamber cover - 2 -.






- Disconnect the harness connector from the air quality sensor.

- Unclip air quality sensor - 1 - from the bracket on the plenum chamber cover.

Installation

- Install in reverse order of removal.
