Checking Ground Lead [GE3]

Checking Ground Lead





- Ignition on.
- Disconnect switch.

Connect a voltmeter between switch connector terminals 5 and 6.

Voltmeter should read approx. battery voltage.

If reading is OK:
- Try another switch.

If reading is incorrect:
- Check lead between switch connector terminal 5 and ground point 31/50 for open circuit as per HA2. Open Circuit [HA2]

- Now go to: Checking signal lead GE4. Checking Signal Lead [GE4]
