Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) DTC Troubleshooting: 60

DTC 60:

F-CAN Communication Line Error

1. Check the MIL on the gauge control module Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.

Does the MIL stay on?

YES -

Go to the PGM-FI system's general troubleshooting information.�

NO -

Go to step 2.

2. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

3. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), then wait for 10 seconds.

4. Press the ACC switch ON.

5. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC 60 indicated?

YES -

Go to step 6.

NO -

Troubleshoot the indicated DTC(s). If there are no DTCs, the system is OK at this time.�

6. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).

7. Disconnect the ACC unit 20P connector.

8. Measure the resistance between ACC unit 20P connector terminals No. 10 and No. 20.There should be less than 70 Ohms.





Is the resistance as specified?

YES -

Faulty ACC unit; replace the ACC unit Service and Repair.�

NO -

Repair an open in the wire between the ACC unit and the branch of the F-CAN line (F-CAN H, F-CAN L).�
