Rear Seat Head Restraint Actuator/Wire Harness Replacement

NOTE: Take care not to tear or damage the seat covers.

1. Remove the rear seat-back Rear Seat Removal / Installation.

2. Release the hooks (A, B), then remove the head restraint case (C) from the head restraint frame (D).






3. Remove the actuator wire harness (A).

1. Remove the connector clip (B) from the connector (C).

2. Remove the head restraint pillar cover (D).

3. Release the hooks (E), then remove the pillar trims (F).

4. Remove the screw securing the ground lead (G).

5. Disconnect the actuator connector (H), and detach the harness clip (I) from the head restraint base (J).





4. Carefully remove the foam as needed from the frame. Remove the screws, and release the arm (A) from the hook (B), then remove the actuator (C).





5. Install the actuator and the wire harness in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:

- Make sure the connector is plugged in properly.
- Push the hooks into place securely.
