Active Damper System DTC Troubleshooting: 1-4, 1-5, 1-6

DTC 1-4:

Front Vertical Acceleration Sensor Range/Performance Problem

DTC 1-5:

Right-Rear Vertical Acceleration Sensor Range/Performance Problem

DTC 1-6:

Left-Rear Vertical Acceleration Sensor Range/Performance Problem

1. Press the engine start/stop button to select the ON mode.

2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

3. Test-drive the vehicle.

4. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC 1-4, 1-5, or 1-6 indicated?

YES -

Go to step 5.

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Refer to intermittent failures troubleshooting.

5. Press the engine start/stop button to select the OFF mode.

6. Do the appropriate vertical acceleration sensor inspection Testing and Inspection.





Does the vertical acceleration sensor indicate OK?

YES -

Replace the active damper control unit Service and Repair.

NO -

Replace the appropriate vertical acceleration sensor Service and Repair.
