Adjusting to roof frame:
^ With convertible top closed, seal on roof frame may protrude over upper cowl trim 1.5 mm (0.06 in.) max. and convertible top must lie 0.5 - 1.5 mm (0.02-0.06 in.) lower than seal on roof frame
^ Dimension -a- has no significance
^ Adjustment is made by moving locking guide ~ Fig. 1
^ Dimensions -b- and -c-: 8.0 ± 1.0 mm (0.31 ± 0.04 in.)
^ Dimensions -b- and -c- are adjusted by inserting different thickness support shims. Service and Repair
Adjusting trim strip for convertible top storage lid:
^ Convertible top must lightly contact trim strip (arrow)
^ Adjust by installing or removing different thickness adjusting and/or support shims. Service and Repair

Fig. 1 - Adjusting Locking Guide:
• Roof frame height is adjusted by adjusting lock guide height
• Dimension -a- must be 498 mm ± 1.5 mm (19.5 ± 0.06 in.)
- Hand tighten bolt -1- and bolt with roller -2-.
- Close convertible top.
Lock guide pin must slide exactly into locking guide.
- Adjust locking guide if necessary.
- Open convertible top and tighten bolts -1- and -2-.
Tightening torque: 7 Nm (62 in. lb).
