DTC 17087 / P0703

1) The brake pedal is recognized as not being depressed, which means that the Shift Lock solenoid -N110 is not released when the brake pedal is depressed and the selector lever cannot be moved out of position P or N (the shift lock solenoid is constantly active).

2) Shift Lock solenoid -N110 cannot be activated in positions P and N, which means that the selector lever can be moved out of positions P and N without depressing the brake pedal. (The shift lock solenoid is constantly not active).

Note for DTC 17087 / P0703:
^ The malfunction is preset when the ignition is switched on. The preset DTC is erased after the brake pedal has been activated once if the Brake Switch -F is OK

^ Step on the brake pedal before checking the DTC memory to erase the preset DTC.
