Transmission Vehicle Speed/Output Speed Sensor

Removing

- Drain ATF. Refer to => [ ATF, Changing or Filling after Repairs ] [1][2]ATF, Changing or Filling After Repairs.

- Remove ATF oil pan. Refer to => [ Oil Pan ] 01VA Transmission.

- Disconnect electrical connector - arrow - at Transmission Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) (G38)/Transmission Output Speed (RPM) Sensor (G195).





- Remove bolt and remove Transmission Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) (G38)/Transmission Output Speed (RPM) Sensor (G195) - 2 - with spacer sleeve - 1 -.





Installing

Installation in reverse order of removal, note the following:

- Position Transmission Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) (G38)/Transmission Output Speed (RPM) Sensor (G195) - 2 - with spacer sleeve - 1 - on transmission and tighten bolt.

• Spacer sleeve height: 8 mm.

- Install ATF oil pan. Refer to => [ Oil Pan ] 01VA Transmission.

- Fill ATF. Refer to => [ ATF, Changing or Filling after Repairs ] [1][2]ATF, Changing or Filling After Repairs.
