Fuse Panel in Engine Compartment E-Box

Removing

- Switch the ignition off.

- Disconnect the battery ground (GND) cable from the battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.






- Remove the fuse panel B (SB). Refer to => [ Fuse Panel B in Engine Compartment E-Box ] Fuse Panel B in Engine Compartment E-Box.

The relay - 3 - and - 4 - fuse holder - 1 - remain clipped on.

The electrical wire - 5 - remains connected.


- Release the retaining clip in the direction of the - arrow - and push the fuse panel - 2 - back and out and disengage it.

- Remove the fuses from the fuse panel.






- Release retaining clips in the direction of the - arrows - and remove the cover from the fuse panel.

- Pull off retaining strip - 1 - for harness connectors in the direction of the - arrow - and remove harness connectors from connector socket.






The exact assignment of the fuse panel in the engine compartment E-box can be found in the applicable wiring diagram.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Install the fuse panel B. Refer to => [ Fuse Panel B in Engine Compartment E-Box ] Fuse Panel B in Engine Compartment E-Box.

- Connect battery. Required actions, refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
