Evaporative Emission Canister System Overview






1 Air Filter

For the fuel tank pressure sensor (G400)

Installed location: Under wheel housing liner in the right rear wheel housing

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (G400), Air Filter ] Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (G400), Air Filter

2 Clamp

Must be appropriate for the model type. Refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA).

3 Connecting Hose

4 Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (G400)

Installed location: Under wheel housing liner in right rear wheel housing

Checking in Guided Fault Finding using the vehicle diagnosis tester

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (G400) ] Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor (G400)

5 Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister

Installed location: Under wheel housing liner in right rear wheel housing

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Evaporative Emission Canister ] Service and Repair

6 Bolt

20 Nm

Quantity: 3

7 Vent Line

From the fuel tank

To disconnect, press release button on connection piece

8 Vent Line

To EVAP canister purge regulator valve 1 (N80)

To disconnect, press release button on connection piece

Clipped to the bracket

9 Clamp

Must be appropriate for the model type, refer to the Electronic Parts Catalog (ETKA)

10 Ventilation Line

To the air filter for the fuel tank pressure sensor

11 Bracket

12 Fuel Tank Leak Detection Control Module (J909)

Installed location: front right at fuel tank

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Fuel Tank Leak Detection Control Module (J909) ] Fuel Tank Leak Detection Control Module (J909)

13 Nut

1.6 Nm

Quantity: 2

14 Bolt

4 Nm

Quantity: 6

15 Bolt

4 Nm
