Fuse Panel in Engine Compartment E-Box

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to=> [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Removing






- Turn off the ignition and disconnect the ground cable from the battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

- Remove the bolts - 1 and 3 - and remove the right upper longitudinal member - 2 -.

- Remove the screws - arrows - and remove the cover - 1 - for the right plenum chamber E-box.






- Open the retainers - arrow - and remove the relay panel and fuse panel - 1 -.






- Open the clip - arrow -, push the fuse panel - 2 - toward the rear and disengage it - 1 -.






- Unlock the release and remove from the fuse carrier.






- Remove the fuses from the fuse panel.

- Open the clips - arrows - and remove the fuse panel cover.

- Pull off retaining strip - 1 - for harness connectors - arrow - and remove harness connectors from connector socket.






The exact assignment of the fuse panel in the plenum chamber E-box can be found in the applicable wiring diagram.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Install the relay and fuse panel. Refer to => [ Relay and Fuse Panel in Right Plenum Chamber E-Box ] Relay and Fuse Panel in Right Plenum Chamber E-Box.
