Relay and Fuse Panel in Right Plenum Chamber E-Box

Observe notes on contact corrosion. Refer to=> [ Contact Corrosion ] Service Precautions.

Removing






- Turn off the ignition and disconnect the ground cable from the battery. Refer to => [ Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.

- Remove the bolts - 1 and 3 - and remove the right upper longitudinal member - 2 -.

- Remove the screws - arrows - and remove the cover - 1 - for the right plenum chamber E-box.






- Disconnect the connectors - 1, 2 and 3 - and free up the wires.






- Open the retainers - arrow - and remove the relay panel and fuse panel - 4 -.

- Open the retainer - 5 - and remove the Suppressor (C24) - 6 -.

- Disengage the engine wiring harness on the E-box plenum chamber and lay it on the engine.

- Open the clip - arrow -, push the fuse panel - 2 - toward the rear and disengage it - 1 -.






- Open the clip and remove the auxiliary fuse panel - 2 -.






- Open the clips - arrows - and remove the relay - 1 - and the control modules from the relay panels.

- Release the retaining clips - arrows - and press the relay carrier - 3 - back and out of the bracket - 4 -.






- Open the clip - 2 - and remove the connector - 1 -.

Installing

Tightening specification. Refer to=> [ Engine Compartment E-Box, Wire Junction, Fuse Holder and Battery Overview ] Engine Compartment E-Box, Wire Junction, Fuse Holder and Battery Overview.

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

- Install the upper longitudinal member.

- Connect the battery. Required actions, refer to=> [ Connecting ] Battery, Disconnecting and Connecting.
