OPERATION:
When ignition switch is at RUN, current flows through the deployment loop (both sensors, inflator module, SIR coil). The DERM reads the voltage at sense low terminal A6. When this voltage is higher than a certain preset level, the DERM knows there is an open in the discriminating sensor or related wiring.

POSSIBLE CAUSE:
Open forward discriminating sensor, dual sensor, 348 wire or 1003 wire.
