Fuel Tank Filler Door Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the fuel filler door.
2. Remove the fuel filler pocket. Refer to Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Housing Replacement (Service and Repair).




3. Remove the fuel filler door retaining nuts from the inside of the quarter panel.
4. Remove the fuel filler door.

Installation Procedure




1. Align the fuel filter door to the holes in the quarter panel.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install the nuts inside of the quarter panel to the studs on the fuel filler door.

Tighten the nuts to 10 Nm (89 lb in).

3. Install the fuel filler pocket. Refer to Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Housing Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Close the fuel filler door.
