Catalyst EWMA Samples

The display shows the number of samples from 0 to 255. This display indicates the number of catalyst Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (EWMA) samples that have been completed. The number of samples will reset to 0 if a DTC clear codes or a battery disconnect has occurred. The idle catalyst test requires at least 6 samples to pass but it can fail with less than 6 samples.
