Important: Do not attempt to diagnose a "Lost Communications with Vehicle" scan tool message that is displayed during transmission output control activation. The TOM is programmed to interrupt communication with the scan tool when an attempt is made to activate output controls without first meeting the enabling conditions or if output control limits are exceeded.
