Rear Side Door Window Replacement

Removal Procedure

Caution: Approved safety glasses and gloves should be worn when performing this procedure to reduce the chance of personal injury.

Caution: Refer to Express Window Down Caution in Cautions and Notices.

1. Roll the window half way up and tape into place.
2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Remove the inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement).
5. Remove the outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement (Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement).
6. Remove the door window weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement (Door Window Weatherstrip).
7. Remove the door vent window and division channel. Refer to Rear Side Door Stationary Window and Front Channel Replacement (Rear Side Door Stationary Window and Front Channel Replacement).




8. Remove the tape from door window.
9. Remove the door window from the door.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the door window to the door.
2. Tape the door window into place.
3. Install the door vent window division channel. Refer to Rear Side Door Stationary Window and Front Channel Replacement (Rear Side Door Stationary Window and Front Channel Replacement).
4. Install the door window weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement (Door Window Weatherstrip).
5. Install the outer belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement (Rear Side Door Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement).
6. Install the inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement (Rear Side Door Window Inner Sealing Strip Replacement).
7. Install the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement (Service and Repair).
8. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement Service and Repair
9. Remove the tape from the window.
