B1E53-3RD ROW SEAT RIGHT STOW/TAILGATE POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT LOW





For a complete wiring diagram REFER to DIAGRAMS/ELECTRICAL .


- When Monitored:
Whenever the Seat Motor is activated.

- Set Condition:
If sensor voltage is below a specified range this DTC will set.






Diagnostic Test


1. TEST FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITION
Turn the ignition on.
With the scan tool, erase all DTC's.
Move the Seat Switch in both positions three times.
With the scan tool, read DTC's.
Does the scan tool display this DTC as active?

Yes


- Go To 2


No


- The condition that caused this symptom is currently not present. Check for an intermittent condition by inspecting the related wiring harness for chafed, pierced, pinched, and partially broken wires. Also, inspect the related connectors for broken, bent, pushed out, spread, corroded, or contaminated terminals. Repair as necessary.
- Perform POWER FOLDING SEAT SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Power Folding Seat System Verification Test


2. CHECK THE (P326) RIGHT SEAT STOW POSITION SENSOR SUPPLY CIRCUIT VOLTAGE




Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the C391 Power Folding Rear Seat 16 way in-line harness connector.

NOTE: Check connectors - Clean and repair as necessary.

Connect a voltmeter between the (P326) Right Seat Stow Position Sensor Supply circuit and the (P321) Right Seat Back Position Sensor Return circuit at the 16 way in-line harness connector.
With the Folding Seat Switch select the right seat.
Depress the Stow position switch.
Is the voltage 10.0 volts?

Yes


- Go To 3


No


- Go To 4



3. CHECK THE (P326) RIGHT SEAT STOW POSITION SENSOR SUPPLY CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO GROUND AT MOTOR




Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Right Power Rear Folding Seat Stow Motor harness connector.
Measure the resistance of the (P326) Right Seat Stow Position Sensor Supply circuit to ground and to other circuits at the Right Power Rear Folding Seat Stow Motor harness connector.
Is there any continuity present?

Yes


- Repair the (P326) Right Seat Stow Position Sensor Supply circuit for a short to ground or to another circuit.
- Perform POWER FOLDING SEAT SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1 Power Folding Seat System Verification Test


No


- Replace the Right Power Rear Folding Seat Stow Motor assembly.
- Perform POWER FOLDING SEAT SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1 Power Folding Seat System Verification Test


4. CHECK THE (P326) RIGHT SEAT STOW POSITION SENSOR SUPPLY CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO GROUND AT MODULE




Disconnect the Folding Seat Module C3 harness connector.
Measure the resistance of the (P326) Right Seat Stow Position Sensor Supply circuit to ground and to other circuits in the Folding Seat Module C3 harness connector.
Is there any continuity present?

Yes


- Repair the (P326) Right Seat Stow Position Sensor Supply circuit for a short to ground or to another circuit.
- Perform POWER FOLDING SEAT SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1. Power Folding Seat System Verification Test


No


- Replace the Folding Seat Module.
- Perform POWER FOLDING SEAT SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1 Power Folding Seat System Verification Test
