REAR PILLAR FINISHER : Removal and Installation


REMOVAL

1.Remove the seat belt bolt cover and bolt from the luggage side lower finisher.
2.Remove luggage side lower finished. Refer to "LUGGAGE SIDE LOWER FINISHER : Removal and Installation" Luggage Side Lower Finisher

3.Release the rear pillar finisher clips and pawls using a suitable tool.

CAUTION:
Do not bend the sheet metal when removing the rear pillar finisher from the sheet metal.





4.Remove the rear pillar finisher (A) from the luggage side lower finisher.
5.Remove the seat belt from the rear pillar finisher (A), then remove the rear pillar finisher (LH/RH).

CAUTION:
Do not reuse rear pillar finisher.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
- Do not reuse rear pillar finisher. Replace with new part for installation.
- Visually check the clip and pawls for deformation and damage during installation. Replace with new ones if necessary.
- When installing rear pillar finisher, check that clips and pawls are securely fitted in body panel holes.
