SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY
(a) Place the front seat assembly in the vehicle and align the adjuster pin with the hole on the vehicle side.
NOTE: When installing the passenger side front seat assembly, be careful not to step on the yaw rate sensor mounted on the floor under the seat.

(b) Connect the connector.
(c) Install the clamp.
(d) Connect the negative battery cable.
(e) Move the front seat assembly to the rearmost position by operating the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.
NOTE: Check that the seat is locked.

(f) Temporarily install the front side of the front seat assembly with the 2 bolts.
(g) Move the front seat assembly fully forward by operating the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.
NOTE: Check that the seat is locked.

(h) Temporarily install the rear side of the front seat assembly with the 2 bolts.
(i) Move the front seat assembly to the rearmost position by operating the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.
NOTE: Check that the seat is locked.

(j) Fully tighten the 2 bolts on the front side of the front seat assembly in the order of the inner side bolt and then the outer side bolt.
Torque: 37 Nm (377 kgf-cm, 27 ft-lbf)
(k) Move the front seat assembly fully forward by operating the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.
NOTE: Check that the seat is locked.

(l) Fully tighten the 2 bolts on the rear side of the front seat assembly in the order of the inner side bolt and then the outer side bolt.
Torque: 37 Nm (377 kgf-cm, 27 ft-lbf)
2. INSTALL SEAT TRACK COVER RH
3. INSTALL SEAT TRACK COVER LH
4. INSTALL SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER INNER FRONT LH
5. INSTALL SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER OUTER FRONT LH
6. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
Some systems need initialization when disconnecting the cable from the negative battery cable Repair Instruction - Initialization.
7. CHECK POWER SEAT FUNCTION On-Vehicle Inspection

8. INSPECT SEAT HEATER OPERATION
9. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT Diagnosis System
