DESCRIPTION

The accessory meter assembly receives a reverse signal from the park/neutral position switch assembly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK NAVIGATION SYSTEM

(a) Check the navigation system.

B -- CHECK ACCESSORY METER ASSEMBLY (REVERSE SIGNAL)
A -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY (DISPLAY CHECK MODE)

(a) Enter the "Failure Check/Setting" mode and select "Vehicle Signal" Operation Check.





(b) Check that the display changes between ON and OFF according to the shift lever operation.

This display is updated once per second. As a result, it is normal for the display to lag behind the actual change in the switch.

NG -- REPLACE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY Removal

3. CHECK ACCESSORY METER ASSEMBLY (REVERSE SIGNAL)

(a) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

OK -- REPLACE ACCESSORY METER ASSEMBLY Removal

4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ACCESSORY METER - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH)

(a) Disconnect the H26 accessory meter assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the C33 park/neutral position switch assembly connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal
